At SF Capital, we strive to deliver high-quality business consulting and software development services. Please read our Refund Policy carefully before engaging our services.
SF Capital is a consulting and software development business. We provide
business development consulting, and we design, build and maintain
software solutions for our clients ("Client", "you"), under the
scope, fees and timelines agreed in a signed proposal, statement of work
or service agreement ("Engagement").
Engagements are typically billed as either a deposit plus milestone
payments, or a retainer billed in advance for a fixed period (e.g.
monthly). The specific payment schedule for your Engagement is set out in
your proposal or service agreement.
• Deposits secure our time and resourcing for your Engagement and are
non-refundable once work has commenced, except as set out in Section 3.
• Milestone payments are due on completion of the corresponding
milestone and are non-refundable once that milestone has been delivered
and accepted.
• Retainer fees cover the period they are billed for and are
non-refundable for that period once the period has begun, except as set
out in Section 3.
We want our clients to be satisfied with our work. Refunds are considered
in the following circumstances:
• Work not yet started — if you cancel before any work has commenced
on a deposit or milestone, the amount paid for that deposit or milestone
will be refunded in full, less any third-party costs already incurred
on your behalf (e.g. software licences, hosting, domain registrations).
• SF Capital unable to deliver — if we are unable to deliver the
agreed scope of an Engagement, we will refund the unearned portion of
fees paid for work not delivered.
• Work already delivered — fees for work that has been delivered,
reviewed and accepted by you (or delivered and not disputed in writing
within 7 days of delivery) are not refundable.
To request a refund, contact us at the details above with your invoice
number and the reason for the request. We aim to respond within 5
business days and, where a refund is due, to process it within 10
business days to the original payment method.
4.1 Project-based Engagements
Either party may cancel a project-based Engagement on written notice as
set out in the relevant service agreement. On cancellation:
• You will be invoiced for all work completed and costs incurred up to
the cancellation date.
• Any amount already paid in excess of work completed and costs incurred
will be refunded under Section 3.
4.2 Retainer or subscription-based Engagements
Retainer Engagements may be cancelled by either party giving 30 days'
written notice, unless a different notice period is specified in your
service agreement. The retainer fee for the then-current billing period
remains payable in full; no further retainer fees will be charged after
the notice period ends.
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first so we
can resolve it directly. Card payment disputes raised with Paystack or an
issuing bank are handled in accordance with the relevant card scheme rules
and Paystack's dispute process.
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is
always available on request from SF Capital.
